The Idea Behind the Project

Wildcast is a host-read podcast ads platform for the world's iconic brands in business and technology. 

It connects advertisers to the right podcasters to reach their audience, enhance brand awareness and drive business growth. The platform delivers their content, distributes ad budgets and ensures that campaigns run on the podcasts.

Podcast advertising gives a positive brand association among listeners, with 6 out of 10 listeners saying they are more likely to purchase from a brand they have heard advertised on a podcast.

Project Challenges

The client turned to us with the request of changing the existing design into the upgrading one with new features and important integrations.

Main goals:

  • To incorporate integrations to the platform necessary for utilizing a podcast tracking prefix, supplementing podcaster profiles, payout processing and providing data for advertisers on podcast placements
  • To introduce new features to all three user portals: podcaster, advertiser and admin

As the first step, we deeply investigated the current platform, its logic and main user groups, analyzed client requirements and given wireframes and UI in order to build a roadmap for the platform improvements.

During our work on the podcast platform upgrade we implemented requested integrations that would streamline its operation and optimize users interaction with the platform.

Our team also developed new features for podcaster, advertiser and admin portals, such as new payment settings tab, guide pop ups and sign up checklists, metric upgrades to main podcaster dashboard, admin portal upgrades for managing podcasts, affiliate offers, campaign proposals, and more.

As a result, the platform became more advanced and feature-rich, better optimized in terms of performance and future scalability, and more appealing to users.
