As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful and timely delivery of complex technical projects.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical Delivery Manager or in a similar role, overseeing the successful delivery of technical projects.
- Experience in development roles (developer, QA or ext).
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and project management principles.
- Demonstrated expertise in risk management, resource allocation, and budget oversight. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
- PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines. Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring adherence to established plans and addressing any potential roadblocks or risks.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a diverse team of technical professionals to achieve project milestones and objectives. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, encouraging creativity and innovation.
- Resource Management: Allocate resources efficiently and effectively to maximize project outcomes. Monitor resource utilization and identify areas for optimization.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies. Continuously assess project risks and implement appropriate actions to minimize their impact.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing project updates and addressing concerns or inquiries promptly.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance project delivery processes, methodologies, and tools, driving continuous improvement across the organization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other Project Managers to share best practices and implement improvements in the company's project management system.
